Walden Pond

Today I walked with my friend around Walden Pond. The leaves are still pretty much green, but I suspect in a couple of weeks it there will be plenty of great photo spots.It still cost $5 to park even at 4pm at night on the last day of September. I don't know the logic to still charge people to park since most beaches in New England stop charging after Labor day.
If you do plan to visit Walden Pond, be sure to bring a small rock from home. It is a tradition to leave a stone at the Thoreau House Site.
