In 1998, I was involved with some database programming for a new online sport site. Basically they were running online golf tournaments and need me to figure out the back end database work. The project manager implemented a very strict schedule and didn't have a clear formula to decide winners if they game ended in a tie.
I never completed the project because it was well over the scope of my database knowledge, and they wanted the code to be written in C# which I didn't really know all that well at the time. Turns out that "Play Live Golf" wasn't a good of a business as I though, as they ran into some legal issues.
