If your looking for a good image fill, PatternPad might be a good option. You can easily create any type of pattern quickly and easily.
In the custom options there are 17 options including Circle, Square, Rectangle, Half Circle, Arrow, Stripes, Stars, and more. In addition, you can set the Spacing, Density, Split, Backgrounds, and Color fade to get your perfect pattern.

I notice that Pattern Pad works better in Safari and Firefox than in Chrome. I wasn't able to get the custom option to work in Chrome - I kept getting an Error Code: 5. So if you have problems with this site, try using Safari or Firefox.
