Learn to Better Optimize Your Website

A great tool for understanding how users interact with their pages on mobile and desktop devices is PageSpeed Insights (PSI). A PSI report shows how quickly a page loads, as well as suggestions for how it can be improved. In this way, you can identify areas that need to be addressed so that your users have an optimal experience.

To use PageSpeed Insights, you must enter your webpage's URL into the search box on its home page. After analyzing your page, you will receive two scores - one for mobile devices and one for desktop computers - which represent its performance level relative to other websites tested by Google's algorithms. In addition to these scores, the report also provides specific recommendations, such as optimizing images or minifying CSS files, which can significantly reduce loading times.

As a result, PageSpeed Insight reports provide clear guidance regarding how visitors interact with webpages on various platforms in order to improve them accordingly; ensuring that users have a satisfactory browsing experience regardless of the device type they use is easier than ever before for website owners/developers!

Website Description

PageSpeed Insights (PSI) reports on the user experience of a page on both mobile and desktop devices and provides suggestions on how that page may be improved.

PSI provides both lab and field data about a page. Lab data is useful for debugging issues, as it is collected in a controlled environment. However, it may not capture real-world bottlenecks. Field data is useful for capturing true, real-world user experience - but has a more limited set of metrics. See How To Think About Speed Tools for more information on the two types of data.

About

I will highlight a fun Internet site every Saturday. The basic premise is to highlight sites that I regularly visit for a variety of reasons. All site recommendations are mine and are unsponsored. By highlighting these websites, I hope to provide value to those who may not know of the sites or who might be interested in visiting the sites. I also want to share the sites that I find valuable in the hopes that others will find them just as beneficial.
