Beatrice
In the early 1980's the Beatrice Foods Company was a major American food processing company. They held famous brands such as Tropicana, Altoids, Orville Redenbacher, and Dannon Yogurt.
In order to educate the consumer market on all the various products that they sell, they put together a Treasure Map poster and put it in with all the other newspaper supplements. Beatrice include a $100,000 prize so people would play along. Its very creative marketing.
