Yosemite Fall 2001
New England isn't the only place to enjoy the Fall Foliage. September is a great time to visit Yosemite Valley! You?ll see lots of great color and the weather is cool enough to enjoy some of the hiking trails.
The only downside of going to Yosemite this time of year is the waterfalls aren?t that strong. The best time to see the waterfalls is in the early part of the spring season. A great Easter Weekend trip to Yosemite wouldn?t be a bad idea.
If your looking for a good hotel to stay at, I would highly recommend staying at the National Hotel in historic Jamestown, CA. A great Hotel and a nice little downtown to browse around.
While Yosemite is nice, really the place to be is in Vermont. The rolling hills and beautiful countryside make it a perfect trip. The good news is that if you can?t find a decent hotel room, you could always stay in near-by New Hampshire and enjoy a day trip driving around Vermont. Don?t forget to stop at the Vermont Country Store, a great way to make it a memorable trip.
