Chips Ahoy Gluten Free

Remember the Great Gluten-Free Oreo Caper of 2021? Those little black and white circles vanished faster than you could say "dunk!" Well, folks, it seems history is repeating itself with the arrival of Chips Ahoy!'s brand new gluten-free chocolate chip cookies.

Just like their Oreo counterparts, these gluten-free Chips Ahoy! seem to be experiencing a serious case of "flying off the shelves syndrome." We've hit multiple stores, shopping carts at the ready, only to be met with empty cookie aisles. Talk about a gluten-free FOMO (fear of missing out) situation!

But here's the good news: these cookies are out there, and they sound incredible. Made with a unique blend of rice and oat flour, Chips Ahoy! promises the same classic crunch and decadent chocolate chips we all know and love, minus the gluten.

We'll keep you posted on our quest, and hopefully, soon we'll all be enjoying a warm, gooey Chips Ahoy! gluten-free treat. In the meantime, if you see them, snag a bag (or two) and let us know where the magic happened!

About

This series of posts will cover some tips and tricks that I have learned about my twelve-year-old daughter's gluten-free lifestyle in the Boston area. Gluten-free eating can be challenging in any big city, but especially in Boston due to the high number of restaurants and availability of options. I've been learning what I can to make sure my daughter can still enjoy eating out, and I want to share what I've learned so that other families in the same situation can benefit.
