In this week's Media Monday, I am featuring a montage of the sounds of Halloween from a variety of audio collections from around the globe. The Halloween montage can also serve as suitable background noise for trick-or-treaters.-
Clips from several sources are included in this collection, including:
In the event that you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from your electric company, beware! This is likely a scam, so please be careful.
There is a possibility that the caller could be claiming you owe money and trying to fool you into giving them information. Do not divulge any information to them as what they get could be used against you in another scam.
Last week, I got this call that I immediately knew was a scam. I gave them a fake credit card number (edited out) so I could keep him on the line as long as possible.
While I was at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, I decided to demonstrate the iPhone 14 Pro Max's zoom capabilities.
From my section in the stands, I recorded some of the pregame activities across the field. The video was recorded in 4k.
In addition, you will also be able to hear how well the iPhone 14 Pro Max handles stadium sound.
This week's Media Monday includes three-minute commercials
Featured on this week's media are some commercials that I found on some VHS tapes that I have. These were from VHS recordings that were filmed in the early 1990s, so I don't know the exact dates since they were from various sources.
I get a lot of automated phone calls. I enjoy these calls since they are fun to trick.
In this video, I am going to show you what happens if you have a telephone bot that fails! Note: As long as you don't ask any questions, the bots work fine.
I keep getting calls asking my age. I decided to change it up a bit on a couple of calls I got this week.
Mondays are the days when I receive the most scam calls.
When will these people stop calling me?
I created this video based on the "Letter to my Manager" that was going around a few years ago. There are a few good points in this video about what employees want from their job - besides good pay.
Apple Support is one of the most reliable support services available. However, there are some scammers who are pretending to be from Apple Support. They create fake websites and try to scam people by asking for their personal information or money.
If you ever receive a call, email, or message from someone claiming to be from Apple Support and asking for your personal information, do not provide it. Instead, go directly to the official Apple website or contact Apple Support yourself to verify the legitimacy of the communication.
Apple takes security very seriously and will never ask for your personal information in order to provide support. If you think you may have been scammed by a fake website, report it immediately to apple@apple.com
A fake Apple site caught my attention, so I decided to give them a call.
This is how the conversation went :
He ends the call by saying, "Lovely Lisa." I have no idea what that means.
